This was done back in '96, by a gaggle of U.P. fine arts students with nothing better to do on a Saturday night. I think that everyone eventually ended up in a graphic design-related field, except for me. Some of them (especially two who refused to have their picture taken) became the founding members of Culture Crash Comics. Right, Memer?

Oooh, I never thought I'd see a photo of this thing in here... I remember that paint thingy from long long ago. I mean I've walked all over that road everyday for years and ngayon ko lang nalaman na si Memer pala ay part nung gumawa nung art... =) I wish they'll bring back that street art project in UP. Kaka-bore na kasing puro greek letters lang yung nakikita sa road.

Memer did the majority of the initial 'chalkwork', based on the rough that I submitted to the roadwork committee. IIRC, he painted Minmei all by himself.
